Our Heroes

We’re inspired by the work of Natalie Goldberg, Lynda Barry, Rick Rubin, Brenda Ueland, Ann Randolph, David Lynch, and Ralph W. Emerson, people who make art by listening carefully to what’s deep down and alive.

Amy Mansfield

Amy Mansfield is a writer, theatre-maker, producer and musician with a special interest in interactive work. Her experience in the arts includes working as Literature Adviser at Creative New Zealand, White Night Manager at Auckland Arts Festival, producer at Auckland Live, and now freelance as a writer and creative producer. She’s written three plays and one cabaret show since 2018, and is currently performing and touring her new work H.R. The Musical.

Rachel Davies

Rachel Davies has a couple of decades experience writing and directing for cinema. And later, for page. She’s studied creative practice all over the world and sees similarities with her therapy work— all practices of freeing the life energy.
